Please recommend a mouse

I bought a new Macbook Pro in 2019. I have never liked the Trackpad because I have carpal tunnel. So during COVID when I had to work from home I started using some no-name brand mouse I found in my boyfriend's dresser that plugged in with USB and an adapter. It worked fine for a year.

Now I'm having problems with right click not working right, so I guess I need to buy a new mouse. Can you please recommend oneI can use with this machine. I don't do gaming or anything like that. Just need a basic mouse. Not sure if to get wired or wireless but whatever recommendations would be great.
