updating to iOS 10 or above

A 2012 iPad Mini cannot upgrade/update beyond iOS 9.3.5/9.3.6.

It is a nearly 9-year old iPad and is too old, now, in 2021.

A 2013 iPad Mini 2 CAN only be upgraded/updated to some version of iOS 12, which currently is at iOS 12.5.4.

A 2013 iPad Mini 2 is also, nearly 8-years old.

What year and model iPad do you have/own?

The “A” model number can be found on aluminium back of your iPad in small print

right under the larger bold print “iPad”.

What is the rated, internal data storage space/capacity of your iPad model and how

much of this free, internal data storage capacity is left inside of your iPad model?

Sorry no.

It cannot support iOS versions beyond the one currently running on it, because of hardware (CPU/RAM) incompatibility.

If it's actually a second generation iPad mini(not a first), use a computer or the Software Update function in Settings to update it to 12.5.4.
