That’s an out right lie. I have also been receiving an email for months stating my account has been credited $5.99 per month. Up until now I’ve been puzzled that why when I sign into my account balance is zero. After several hours of my time that I will never get back searching through Apple support and community conversations and questions, I finally found the answer. That’s right Apple I figured out where that $5.99 a month is actually going. I’m a diehard Apple customer. I have Apple everything. Well you really **** this customer off. I couldn’t believe how many conversations and post I read from other customers questioning why they had received emails from Apple TV promising credit monthly and never actually getting their account credited and when Apple support did reply to some of our questions they never gave a straight answer. I finally found out the truth from a community member and the truth is people that it’s all lie. The money they say they are crediting your account is actually being credited towards another one of your Apple subscriptions to offset the discount you you think your getting for signing up for the Apple TV subscription. The truth is you’re getting nothing. I am disgusted. Shame on you Apple for lying to all those customers and making them believe that they are getting a great deal for signing up for your Apple TV subscription. I am very disappointed
