Verification Emails From Apple Take Ages To Arrive

When altering my Apople profile using my iPhone a verification code is sent.

It takes approximately 45 minutes to arrive. Apple's fault or the web?

Everything else is ultra high speed.

Both. The software is up to date at 14.6.

I even just received an email with a code this morning, some 12 hours after requesting it. I had solved the problem myself already when I shut down last night around midnight.

It appears my Internet connection with Bell had slowed down from the usual 5G. But I still feel that Apple servers aren't working fast enough.

Thanks for reaching out again, Ex_Brit. As you mentioned this is happening with both Wi-Fi and cellular data, we'd like to check a few more things. Are you noticing any issues when browsing on Safari, or playing videos with your device? Do other messages come in as normal? When you send a message to yourself, does it show immediately?
