My phone camera is flipped upside down

My phone camera is flipped upside down and I cannot take pictures right or go on FaceTime the correct way I would like some help trying to fix this problem for now and future reference 😅

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.


We understand that your camera orientation is upside down in the Camera app and in FaceTime. If you haven't already, restart iPhone. Update to the latest iOS version in Settings > General > Software Update.


Remove any case, camera attachments, or other accessories you have on your iPhone. Just as precaution, check that Orientation Lock is off in Control Center. If this persists, you can back up iPhone to your iCloud or your computer and restore. Set up iPhone as new and check camera. If this behavior continues, this would indicate a likely hardware issue. You can seek service by contacting Apple directly or by locating service in your region. The links below will help you through troubleshooting.
