App not available to select under Motion & Fitness

I am trying to grant Motion & Fitness access to a specific app but when I go to Settings > Privacy > Motion/Fitness, the app (Noom) is not available to select.

I have granted it access to read data in Health via Settings > Health > Noom so it requested access to my Health data but it apears it is just not requesting access to my Motion/Fitness.

I have compared the Motion/Fitness settings screen to my coworker and they have Noom as an option to select under Motion/Fitness but I do not. How can I rectify this issue? I have tried force closing, restarting my device, uninstalling/reinstalling, etc., and nothing is working. :(

Do you see on your device any other apps under Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness? Or is this list empty?

If you see other apps there, that you already granted access, but not Noom, then that doesn't look as the issue is with iPhone or iOS; it's an issue with the app, therefore you are better off reporting your issue to Noom developer.

An app must request an access to use Motion & Fitness before it will appear it under Settings > Privacy > Motion/Fitness.

Check if app offers in-app settings menu and where to make changes for it. Otherwise check the app documentation how/where options to request access to Motion & Fitness are in app so it will prompt iOS for it.

Edit: you might also want to check App Store if you have any pending app updates, specifically one for the app in questions. Typically apps do all requests to grant access to iOS features upon first launch. This said you could try to delete the app, then reboot iPhone and reinstall the app, then open it and see if that helps.

Thanks. I was afraid of this. Looks like it may be a bug in the app software or my phone's software because as I mentioned in my original question, I have already exhausted nearly every option, (e.g., reboot, reinstall (several times), etc.) and when I go through the process of granting health access/permissions, it never appears in the Motion/Fitness part of settings. I see it available in Health and pretty much any other area except Motion/Fitness.

I'm really afraid to ask but I'm hoping Apple chimes in here because I'm worried I will have to wipe my phone because I'm wondering if it's a glitch in my iOS software. I'm waiting to hear back from tech support for the app but there's clearly an issue with the interface with my device if there are limited options for settings within the app to modify the privileges (which would initiate a request from the app to the phone) and I have repeatedly tried it with no success, while my coworker has an iPhone that is not having the issue.
