VirtualBox and MBA M1 Working Process?

Hello,

Is there a problem with using VirtualBox with the MacBook Air 2020 M1 model?

I want to install the Linux operating system. are there any problems with virtualization applications and installation problems?

If there are problems, what virtualization application can I use?

M2 chip compatibility with x86-x64 applications? Laptop: MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020); Chip: Apple M1 I'm trying to run a Linux Virtual Machine via the VirtualBox application (or software, not sure which), and it doesn't support the M1 chip (which only runs x86-x32 applications). I've tried the 5.2 builds, but no luck. Further, I'm willing to upgrade to the M2 chip if it runs x86-x64 applications, but I'm also open to trying other [free] VM applications. Does the M2 chip run x86-x64 applications? Are there similar applications to VirtualBox? I appreciate any help you can provide.

You can check on the VirtualBox forums but last time I checked they had no plans to support M1 Macs.
