iLife was a name used years ago to designate a suite of mac applications: iTunes, iMovie, iPhoto, iDVD, iWeb and GarageBand.

iTunes has been replaced by Music, TV, Podcasts, and also parts of its functions are now done by the Finder. All of those are on every mac.

iMovie and GarageBand can be downloaded for free from the App Store.

iPhoto has long since been replaced by Photos, which is on every mac.

iDVD and iWeb have been discontinued years ago.
