Apple’s international warranty is explicit in that it can only provide cover/support that is available in the country in which the claim is made - and that this will not necessarily be equivalent to that of the country of purchase. The international warranty applies in countries where Apple are officially represented, either directly (e.g., Apple Store) or indirectly via an Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP).
The international warranty provides a limited safety net.
To find an AASP in Cyprus, using a Google search, try searching for “Apple AASP Cyprus”.
