why are Apple products of such poor quality ? Is this a common trait with all Apple devices ?

Have you seen Apple’s sales figures and the what value of the company is? If you have seen those numbers, I don’t think you would be asking that question.

I've always been a Samsung user, and last year I tried an Apple iPad mini (2019). I really don’t care for how this iPad works, I just prefer Samsung. But apple has done a great job building the software, and the hardware. Most Apple devices will last a very long time.

When you say that you've been burned, I assume you mean physically. Number one, what types of devices has this been happening on? Number too, in the room/ place you are in too hot? Number 3, could it be the case? Number four, try to keep apps closed to help save battery, boost performance, and keep the temperature down. Number five, try other measures to keep the phone, tablet, watch, computer, or whatever device(s) you are having issues with.
