Banks generally do not change the interest rate on credit cards. The interest rate is only partially based on your FICO score. Banks use their own internal risk assessment too. They look at payment history and length of credit. If the account you have is relatively new, 1 to 3 years, you have not established enough history on that card for the bank to lower your rate. They like to see 5 or more years of onetime payments.

If there has been a major change in your FICO score, you’ve maintained an excellent FICO score (775+) for several years, or a large change in annual income, you might request they review the interest rate on a credit card account.

Hi, at this time there is nothing publicly released about getting a lower in rate on your Apple Card account. You can contact Goldman Sachs Bank (the Apple Card issuer) with the information below,

CONTACTING US — Goldman Sachs Bank

Except as explicitly set forth in this Agreement, you can contact us with questions or other matters about your Account by:

• Using Messages, chat with an Apple Card specialist.

• Calling us toll-free at 877-255-5923; or

• Writing to us at Lockbox 6112, P.O. Box 7247, Philadelphia, PA 19170-6112.

If you attempt to contact us by other means, we may not receive your message and may not be able to respond in a timely manner, or at all.

In my 40+ year experience with banks and credit cards, I’ve rarely had an interest rate lowered.

I hope this helps.
