2015 macbook pro reset pram isn't working

I've tried four times to reset my PRAM on my 2015. It chimes twice and I let go of opt. +cmd +p+r . I've tried letting it chime four times, I've tried counting to 20 and nothing is working.

pram reset M1 MacBook Pro Ventura I've just started having problems with my MacBook Pro M1 running Ventura giving me a black screen, meaning that I have to hold the power key to shut down, then restart. I've run diagnostics and that's OK. I wanted to do a PRAM reset but didn't seem to have enough time between pressing the power button to press and hold Opt, Cmd, P and R. I shut down and pressed those four keys before I pressed the pwoer button, but pressing the 4 keys was enough to boot it. But it booted up normally, without a second chime. Have I reset the PRAM, despite not having the second chime ? Is there a different way of doing a PRAM reset with Ventura ? Thanks for your help, Stuart

Have to do PRAM reset every time Macbook Air is turned on 3 issues really - 2 related MAC shuts off if not on constant cord power (assume battery is bad, which I saw online quote for about $129). Have to do a PRAM reset every time my MAC starts up or I only get cap mode Even after PRAM reset, the left side of the keyboard won't respond to Caps/Shift Before I bring it in, I wanted to make sure I have done all I can do about the PRAM issue. Thx for any help

If you get at least two chimes when holding the PRAM Reset (initial boot chime and one PRAM Reset chime), then the PRAM Reset is being triggered.

Maybe if you provide more details of your main problem that you feel can be solved by a PRAM Reset, then maybe we can assist you in trying to resolve the main issue.
