Here is the Pages Support site including user guides for each Apple platform's Pages application.

Do some exploring, using the templates supplied in the Template Chooser.

In Pages, click on the File menu to oen it.

IF the first item is "New," you have a specific template set to open on choosing that item. If most of your documents are going to use that specific template, that will be a useful setting. If you are going to make a variety of document types, you might want to go to Pages Preferences (in the Pages menu) and reset the file menu to show "New from Template chooser" as the first item.

Whichever of these you choose, you can change the first item to the other one by holding down the Option key when opening the File menu.

Take a look at the Help menu as well. The Pages Help item in this menu is particularly useful, as it takes you to the Pages User Guide for your version of Pages—a generally well-organized document that can answer many questions about how Pages works.

And, when you have specific questions, you can always ask them here.

REgards,

Barry
