Keyboard compatibility
I have an iPad Air 2 and am considering upgrading to an iPad Pro 12.9”. I have a wireless keyboard for the Air 2, is this compatible with the new iPad Pro? Thanks.

YES, they are compatible with almost all iPads supporting keyboards (see compatibility sections at the bottom of both models pages)

Your Bluetooth keyboard will be no less compatible with the iPad Pro than it was with your iPad Air2.
More recent versions of iPad add support for newer versions of the Bluetooth standards. For example, the 2021 iPad Pro supports Bluetooth 5.0 (this being back-compatible with earlier versions of Bluetooth standards).
No details here of your “wireless” keyboard, but as the keyboard has been successfully used with your iPad Air2, it is assumed that that you are using either an Apple or third-party Bluetooth keyboard.
If the Bluetooth Bluetooth keyboard worked with your Air2, it will be fully compatible with the iPad Pro.

Hi, thanks for your replies.
The keyboard is an Inateck mini wireless bluetooth 3.0 keyboard, which was compatible with my old iphone 6 and currently with my ipad air 2.
I'm hoping it's not become a dinosaur already and will still be compatible with the new ipad pro.
