MacBook Pro Complete Battery Drain Overnight

When I put my MacBook Pro (macOS 11.4) into sleep mode, the battery continues to drain as though the screen is left on. Further, the battery usage details suggest the screen was indeed on, constantly.

When there are no peripherals connected to the USB-C ports, the battery drain is slower (but still complete, over a few hours); when a USB-C hub is connected, the battery drain is faster (and again, complete):

During the first dip (at around 9pm, in the graph above) there was nothing connected to any USB-C port on the laptop - and the screen was off; the laptop was in sleep mode. After a couple of hours, you can see I connected the power adaptor.

During the second dip, a USB-C hub was connected. Again, the laptop was in sleep mode, and no display (internal nor external) was on/displaying an image.

I close all apps prior to putting the laptop into sleep mode. The laptop is not hot to the touch, and there is no fan spinning, prior to - or during - sleep mode. To me, this indicates that there are no runaway processes pegging the CPU.

The only workaround I have for this situation, so far, is to fully shut the laptop down after using it, each day.

Has anyone here experienced similar?

Why is the 'Screen On Usage' graph (above) indicating that the screen was on constantly (i.e. for 60 minutes in each 1-hour period)?

Finally, I have attached my battery preferences (Power Nap is disabled):

Thank you all, in advance.

The battery health management feature in macOS 10.15.5 is designed to improve your battery's lifespan

The feature does this by monitoring your battery's temperature history and its charging patterns.

Battery health management also uses the measurements to calculate when your battery needs service.
