Use close button to quit app

I came from windows to mac, and I am finding it really annoying to keep right clicking an app and clicking quit to quit the app. Is there a way to use the close button to quit an app? If not can you please implement it in the upcoming Mac OS Monterey?

Mac mini, macOS 11.4

The difference is a window in MacOS is not the App. It is a document within the app. The close button closes the document, not the app.

For apps that have no reason to stay running when you close the window, it will quit the app. For document based apps, the app remains running so you can open another document or create a new one.

When you are done working on a document, you close it. When you are done using an app, you quit the app.
