Unable to delete partition

Hi!

A while back I created a new partition (Partition 2) on my Mac for troubleshooting reasons. The apps in question are running trouble free on Partition 2, so I would like to delete the Macintosh HD partition and all of its data, but the delete button (-) is grey out, as in the screenshots.

Is there a way I can remove it?

Thanks.

Hi.

I just learned that it was not a partition that I was trying to delete, it was a volume. All I had to do was click the Volume minus button in the Disk Utility toolbar.
