is it possible to archive text messages in any Iphone app? i don't want to see a zillion in my text screen

There is no way, at present, to archive and extract text messages on an iPhone. You may, however, search for third party apps available for a computer to archive the text messages from your iPhone.

Understood. Yes less clutter and better management. However, not currently available on the iPhone.

Thank you Axel.. i don't need to extract anything.. i just want them off my screen. In the Android phone i just left, i could swipe to archive the messages.. if someone replied, it would pop back up with the thread intact. less visual clutter was nice!
