Unwanted SWITCHING from web based Facebook use to the Facebook app.

How do I stop unwanted SWITCHING from web based usage of Facebook to the Facebook app? My iPhone switches without warning or asking permission, DELETING the comment that I was writing. This has happened many times, especially recently. It really angers me to repeatedly lose what I was writing. This issue IS NOT about the app closing. I strongly prefer to NOT use the Facebook app.
