How can I unsubscribe from NY Times through Apple?

I purchased a subscription to NYTimes.com that I no longer want. I called them and asked to cancel and they have no record. I was told I could have purchased it through Apple News. Anyone know how I can cancel? It doesn’t show as a subscription on my phone. Thanks!
