Please show the battery percentage

the charge percentage?

iPhones with Face ID cannot display the percentage in the upper corner like the Touch ID models.

You can see the charge percentage by accessing Control Center (pull down from upper right), you can ask Siri, or you can add a battery widget to your Home Screen or Today View

You can, of course, send feedback to Apple as well
