Will Migration still work with my old and new Mac?
If my old Mac has 1TB storage (3/4 full) and the new has 512 GB, will Migration still work?

Yes , it should work…. But you’d have to pick what you wanted to migrate over… not everything could be migrated. Luckily more storage space isn’t that hard to get. Any properly formatted hard drive or SSD with a USB-C connection will work… and of course you’d want extra storage capacity/space for a Time Machine backup, which is a smart, easy, safe and prudent thing to do. You Were planning on having and using a Time Machine backup, right? Anyways.. here’s an example of a nice backup drive(SSD) … which is lightning-quick. Its main disadvantage is cost. SSD’s are pricey, alas:
