Apple TV not playing video

My iPhone will play music but not video when I AirPlay it to my Apple TV device. I can see the initial screen of whatever I want to play, so they are connected but it just won’t play video. They are in the same network, Up to date in updates and I re started the phone, Apple TV and router. I noticed this after the latest iPhone update. This is the message I’m getting.

If you got another service working with airplay then it does lead to a support issue with Peloton. Either they dropped support or there is a glitch.


Be aware that if your Apple TV is a 2nd Gen then that is considered obsolete so no longer receiving updates and as various issues start to occur it will no longer be supported. You can check the link to verify.

An old one 😂. Very old, but since I have only been using it for that specific purpose (of doing the non bike workouts), it was enough. I will also check with Peloton because they might have stopped supporting AirPlay. It was working Wednesday and then stopped working Thursday. I just tried Prime Video and it works, so definitely looks like a peloton issue. Thanks.
