Blurry Photos

90% of my photos have suddenly gone blurry and are not downloading when I try edit them or share them. I have just bought an extra 200MB date and I have also deleted a load of stuff so I have loads of space. I can still see all the images but they are blurred and inaccessible to edit. It just says ‘downloading’ but doesn’t actually download. Is there anything I can do ?? Thankyou !

Did you already enable "Optimise iPhone Storage" in the Settings > Your name > iCloud > Photos? How much free storage is actually on your iPhone? Buying more cloud storage will not help, if the local storage on your iPhone does not suffice to store at least the smaller, optimised versions of all your photos. For example, as an estimate, if you are having 500 GB photos in iCloud Photos, you should at least have 50 to 100 GB of local storage for the smaller, optimised versions directly on your iPhone. It is not possible to remove the photos completely from your iPhone. You need storage for the optimised versions, and you need storage for the high resolution, full versions of the Photos you want to use currently and view at the full resolution.
