Recovery options for Apple ID Password - AWFUL

My daughter has been trying to reset her apple id password. Her first attempt was on July 5, 2021 (today is July 12, 2021). She was to receive a email to reset her password. She never received her password. Tried again on July 9, 2021. Still no response. She tried again on July 11, 2021 and then again today and STILL NO response. I know you will say it is HER fault for not remembering her password, but that is not why I'm so upset. I am upset because APPLE has made it SO difficult to recover her password. There latest "excuse" is she cannot use the device while her password is in "recovery". Try going without your phone for that long of a period. This IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Is there a EASIER way to get her password reset so that she can set up her NEW macbook AIR that I bought for her on her birthday on JULY 2, 2021.

I am just so upset right now with Apple in general. We have been iphone users since the release of iPhone 3 and have never had this much of a difficult interaction with APPLE.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.


If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner. Pick the closest topic you can find.
