unable to find my apple backup password. please help

I am getting billed for iCloud Back up for my new MacBook Air , But I am unable to get the system to accept my password.

Apple was to send me a e mail to reset , but none has happened .

I am about ready to return my new MacBook to Apple . I have had a real; lack of support form Apple.

I should have gone to an old time Apple dealer that could have fixed my problems.Fancy glass & glitter

If you can’t remember the password for your encrypted backup. You can’t restore an encrypted backup without its password.
