Look Up the Battery Health:

When the Battery Health is 80% or lower, it is time for a new battery.

1. Go To: Settings
2. Tap: Battery
3. Tap: Battery Health
4. View: Percentage

No.

Batteries typically drop 1-3% right out of the box. So, dropping is expected in a new phone. As for it being at 90, and draining really fast, it has to do with usage and vulnerabilities.

There is nothing you can do to "fix" this. All batteries degrade over time, depending on usage, some sooner than others. Once it goes below 80, contact Apple support.
