Please return the OLD XML

Hello. I like to do all my editing job in FCPX - because it's super cool, but!!! Every time when i need to send my edit to Color Correction in Davinci i get a problem of compatibility. For the first look it's sending and it's opening well BUT! If i do any retime FX with my clip in FCPX and do export - i get a compound clip in DaVinci - not a real clip with IN and OUT mark, that Davinci can use for TRIM all material and collect archive with clips that i really need. Because DaVinci can't see IN and OUT mark and see only compound clip that send me to all video without IN and OUT marks inside. It is a very long stupid job to rebuild it again there. This problem are easy resolving with OLD XML (from FCP 7) That still working. I want to ask Apple to return possibility to use both XML formats!

You are not talking to Apple, we are users like you.

The current FCP is very different from the old one. There are tools on the market that convert between XML versions, but the conversion cannot be completely perfect, because the paradigms are so different.

Only Apple could decide to implement some support for the old XML, but frankly ten years on, I would not bet on it.

Nevertheless, the only way to make your views known is to use feedback:

Final Cut Pro->Provide Final Cut Pro Feedback...

Already used. Here i just want to open topic and see how people react. Is anybody has that problem or want to ask Apple with feedback about it too. I know some third party app to do that but why i need to pay for many apps if i want to work in Apple ecosystem only :)
