How can I stop dictionary definitions from appearing in a Pages doc?

Thank you, but all of those were unchecked already.


The solution came from a simple Google search:


  1. Step 1: click on the Apple icon on the top left corner, then select System Preferences.
  2. Step 2: click on Trackpad.
  3. Step 3: under the Point & Click tab, uncheck the Look up & data detectors option.
