Can you tell by the serial number if your

iphone will be effected by the boot loop problem?

Please follow the steps in the following link for support with this issue: If your iOS device restarts or displays the Apple logo or a spinning gear unexpectedly

My mother in-law has had the phone for 6 years and has no issue. Just curious about it.
