Is the Apple A1407 Thunderbolt 27" LED Cinema Display compatible with a MacBook Pro 2018 laptop?

Genuine ThunderBolt displays can be used with the ThunderBolt-3 <-> ThunderBolt-2 adapter. If the display does not have a captive ThunderBolt input cable, you would also need a genuine ThunderBolt-2 cable to make the final connection.


The ThunderBolt-3 <-> ThunderBolt-2 adapter DOES NOT support ANY other kinds of displays, It does not support Mini DisplayPort displays, which look identical but have a |[_]| Mini-DisplayPort symbol on the input cable.
