Why does my card change different colors from yellow to purple is there any significance?

As far as I understand, there are different colors for every type of purchase.

but in summary :

• Green — Travel 
• Blue — Transportation 
• Orange — Food & Drink 
• Pink — Entertainment 
• Purple — Services 
• Yellow — Shopping 
• Red — Health

The colors represent broad spending categories. Reds is health, orange is food and drink, purple is services, etc. You'll see your Apple Card colors change too -- and a card with no balance displays white.
