can i screen mirror from an iphone to a macbook air?

At present, I do not believe it is possible to mirror your iPhone or iPad to your MacBook Air without third-party software. You can mirror to Apple TV and some other smart TVs. There is a bit of a workaround to record your iPhone screen on a MacBook Air using Quicktime. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207935


Apple has previewed airplay to Mac during its developer conference and the feature may become available in the updated OS Monterey. Of course, it isn't delivered yet, and subject to change, but the feature seems to be in the works.
