hi, my watch strap wont come out, how do i fix it?

Even when I click on the back button, the bottom strap won’t come out.

Apple Watch Series 2, watchOS 6

Can't remove Apple Watch strap - one is fine the other won't remove. I can remove one side of the strap, but the button that releases the other side won't go in so can't remove the strap. Any suggestions?
