Broken watch dial delivered

I did order new apple watch 6 and I received broken dial.

when trying to contact support it is asking to enter Apple serial number of the watch. Do I need to pair it to know the serial number?

I did try using iPhone serial number but didn’t work. Please help

The serial number should be on the outside of the box.
