Did you have CEC activated on both devices?
- With CEC, waking from sleep is functionality of the TV, regardless of the signal commands/requests that are send. Your model TV may not support waking from sleep through a connected device.
- Without CEC, waking from sleep may be set as indicated in the guide, again if supported by the TV.
