Does AppleCare cover accidental damage to my MacBook Pro?

My dog accidentally push my laptop off my couch and dented the sides of my m1. Does AppleCare cover this? or should I buy a case to hide the damages?

If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.

No. Historically covers and cases have been problems because they trap moisture between themselves and the aluminum case; that can cause corrosion if the aluminum. Some cases/covers also block critical cooling air vents causing overheating.
