Recently I was trying to clear up space so I am really hoping I didn't delete anytime important. A bunch of these type of folders are popping up on my desktop. Does anyone know what they are? Is it possible I deleted something I shouldn't have? Are they safe to delete? If not, is there a specific place I can move them to? Can I set up a way to automatically move them?

I have been trying to create space on my computer by clearing out files using OmniDiskSweeper. I tried to be careful with what I was deleting because I know certain files should not to be messed with. I deleted things that I did not think I needed anymore, especially files from downloads that I have deleted, but still have the files for. So I'm not sure if that is a possible reason as to why these folders are popping up, or if they are from something else.
Some of them are empty, some folders have random files that can't be opened.
You have to be more specific about what you have been doing. Deleting files does not create folders on the Desktop.
I fail to see how deleting something would create folders on the Desktop…
Do these folders contain anything? Can you select one, press command-I and post a screenshot of the Info window?
