My iphone 6s was dropped into 10" of water for about 2 minutes. It worked for 15 seconds after nad then quit and got vey hot. Is this repairable?

My iphone 6s was in 10" of water for about 2 minutes. It worked for 115 seconds after retrieval and then quit and would not restart. Entire unit became very hot. After cool down, still no start even when plugged into charger. Had been having issues with battery holding a charge prior to incident. Will a new battery possibly fix the issue? What about the sim card, will it need a new one?
