Shazam widget does not recognize music while using AirPods Pro

Shazam widget does not work on most of the apps such as TikTok while playing through AirPods. It used to do it before but suddenly it stopped recognizing any songs.

I finally figured it out!

When i activated Sound Recognition and set at least one sound on, Shazam widget worked perfectly through AirPods. I have no clue why does this happen or how is it even connected but I’m glad its finally working again.

P.S. If you activated Sound Recognition but did not turn on at least one sound (ex: siren)

Shazam widget will still not work!

This might be a bug on iOS 14.6 and i just figured out how to fix it :)

We'd love to assist you with getting Shazam set up and working on your device. These steps here: Use Shazam on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, or Mac will assist you with using it.

Also, we noticed you stated the issue occurs when using your AirPods. Have you tested using the widget without the AirPods being connected?

Lastly, does the issue occur after restarting the device using the steps here: Restart your iPhone ?

Thanks for the details. Does the issue still occur after resetting your AirPods using the steps here: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro ?

Also, have you been able to test using a different pair of earphones?

It works perfectly without the Airpods on every app. Yes i have tried restarting my iPhone but the issue still persists
