It is water resistant. It is NOT waterproof.

You should never, ever submerge any device, whether it's a phone, a watch, or anything else, that is rated to anything less than 50 meters of water resistance.

Hello:) Do yourself a big favor…do not believe it. You may void your warranty by giving it a try. Even some of the waterproof cases that claim you can turn it into an underwater camera should not be trusted.

False. No phone is waterproof. They are somewhat splash resistant. Try to never get it wet.
