Hello. I turned off cellular data for some apps, but they still waste my cellular data even though I turned some of them off. For example i turned off snapchat but still get snap streaks and can send streaks back, can check instagram and see stories, get dm messages. What should i do?

Have you restarted your phone recently? A simple on and off again can solve many problems. If that fails then my next step I would suggest would be to restore your phone. This will show you how to back up and restore if you are unsure how to do so: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204184
Your phone is most likely in warranty so I would also recommend speaking to apple technical and they should be able to help you further, they may ask you if you have restored your phone and if you haven’t they may ask you to do that so you could save yourself a little bit of time by doing it yourself first.

Go on Settings and then scroll down until you find the App’s you want to turn data off for, tap that app and you should see ALLOW “name of app” TO ACCESS and one of these settings is mobile data. Try turning it off from here and see if it makes a difference.
After turning the Mobile Data off and when you open the apps do you see a message as shown in the pic below? If not then it was not turned off at all.
