I have an iPhone 6 but it is not letting me do the new update of iOS 14 and keeps saying error

So how can I update my phone all I need is IOS 12 for my apps to update but I don’t know how to do it

In your original post you indicated that you are already running iOS 12. Did you mean to write: "...all I need is IOS 14..."?
