as long the connector fits and the device does not output higher than 5volts it can never harm your device in anyway
watt= current*volt
current is something the device being charged draw and the factor in the watt equation is how much current the charger is able to provide, the ios device will only draw what is was build to charge by so a 600watt would be fine too

If you use that 20W USB-C power/charging adapter, you will need to purchase a USB-C to Lightning cable from Apple or other third party cable makers, like Amazon ( Amazon Basics ), Anker Electronics, Belkin, and other similar cable makers, IF you do not already have an appropriate power/charge cable.
as long as the connector fits, the volts are not higher than 5volts and the watt are minimum 10watt you're fine
