Big Sur Airplay issues

I could easily connect to my Samsung TV directly through Airplay using Catalina. However, I recently bought a new M1 Mini with Big Sur installed and it no longer works. It briefly connects, flashes a passcode, then fails.

Big Sur has broken Airplay for a lot of people and it has been almost a year. Has anyone found a way to make it work?

Since updating to Big Sur, I no longer have access to airplay. Airplay is no longer working from my macbook to my tv. It doesn't appear at the top of my mac screen like it did before updating to Big Sur. How can I fix this?

airplay won't connect Running Big Sur 11.2.1 on a 13" Macbook Pro M1 chip. Airplay initially connected to my Samsung smart TV but would not enter full-screen mode (would go solid gray). Tried restart on both TV and laptop and now it won't connect at all. Ideas?

Airplay in Big Sur I have updated my Mac Book Pro to Big Sur along with another colleagues Macbook Air. When we go to screen mirror, the apple TVs in our work environment no longer show up as options and we have to dig deep into the display settings to airplay. It was great in Catalina because we would go to airplay and we would just go to the airplay icon and the list of available devices would be there. No such luck anymore. Anyone have a fix for this? NOTE: As of 2-25-21 all devices have newest updates, have been restarted and this issue is consistent with multiple Apple TV 4K devices in the environment along with two different models of mac.

Ah! It's not a Bluetooth issue, but is under "Displays" in System settings (mirroring.)
