I lost my fitness streak (rings)

Hi support team,

My apple watch wasnt syncing my activity one of the days because of which I reset my apple watch. In spite of completing my MOVE, EXERCISE & STAND goals that day, the next day - its showed me - i had not completed & I lost my fitness streak.

Can someone please help or fix the issue?

Thank you so much for your help & response. I tried the above method, looks like only data is getting added but the rings didnt complete for that day.

Can anything be done?

I dont want to lose my long streak :(

At this point, I'm afraid there is not much you can do. You can try to manually add a workout (and its data):

  1. In the Health App on the iPhone, tap on the Health Data tab at the bottom
  2. Then tap Activity and scroll down to Workouts and tap on it
  3. In the the top right hand corner of the screen it says add data (or simply +)
  4. Tap on that and you can enter a new workout and its data
  5. When you are finished tap on add at the top right of the screen.

Be aware though that this only effects your 3 rings on the day in question.

You might also try to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

But like I said upfront, I think it is lost for good.
