There is no 3.5mm port. See: iPad Pro - Technical Specifications - Apple

You can use the following adapter: Buy USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter - Apple

Also, the latest 12.9 inch iPad Pro is the 5th generation.
