I just bought a Macbook Air yesterday (16/07/2021) using a student ID and discount in a store located at Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. I was not aware of getting free Airpods and even the employees at that authorized iConcept store didn't tell us anything about this scheme. So, is there any way I can apply or get free Airpods?

One will find the offer for the AirPods on the special education section of Apple Store Online. The company’s official website says that an Apple specialist will verify your eligibility using your university ID or acceptance offer.

The offer may not be available in all locations. From what I found, the following countries offer the deal:
Back to School deals are available to students and educators in countries that include the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand.
