I just bought a Macbook Air yesterday (16/07/2021) using a student ID and discount in a store located at Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. I was not aware of getting free Airpods and even the employees at that authorized iConcept store didn't tell us anything about this scheme. So, is there any way I can apply or get free Airpods?

Do note that the new Back to School discount programme is only available for current and newly accepted college/university students, parents buying for them, and teachers and staff at all levels. One will find the offer for the AirPods on the special education section of Apple Store Online. The company’s official website says that an Apple specialist will verify your eligibility using your university ID or acceptance offer.

The offer may not be available in all locations. From what I found, the following countries offer the deal:
Back to School deals are available to students and educators in countries that include the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand.
Contact the Apple Authorized Reseller to find out if they are a qualifying location for the promotion. Here is a resource that may help.
Thanks for your response but according to my research India is one of those countries. So, is there any way I still can benefit from this deal?
