Video is black when I import

I’m not sure what’s happening. I’m starting back up with video production after quite a few years and I don’t know how to troubleshoot this.

I airdropped a video from my iPhone to my MacBook and then imported media to fcpx but the video is now just black. The audio works fine. I’ve tried the same sequence with a smaller file since I use iCloud to store the contents of my desktop.

I just finished editing another video with the same MOV formatted kind of videos from my iPhone so I’m not sure what the issue is, can anyone help?
