I turn off the wifi on IPhone 12 and it still doesn’t turn off

There’s been several times where my wifi isn’t working and so I go to turn off my wifi in the control center, but the wifi symbol is still on the top right. And then I go back to the control center and the wifi is turned on, this is getting really annoying considering this is a new iPhone. I am still covered by my 1 year warranty also.
